The Princess Bride!

One of the greatest books/films ever written/made!!!

If you have never read or saw it, I suggest you do so quickly!!! (before I stop talking to you)

Uh i love this movie: Quotes are taken from the Internet Movie Database

Grandpa: [voiceover] Nothing gave Buttercup as much pleasure as ordering Westley around.
Buttercup: Farm boy, polish my horse's saddle. I want to see my face shining in it by morning.
Westley: As you wish.
Grandpa: [voiceover] "As you wish" was all he ever said to her.
Buttercup: Farm boy, fill these with water - please.
Westley: As you wish.
Grandpa: [voiceover] That day, she was amazed to discover that when he was saying "As you wish", what he meant was, "I love you." And even more amazing was the day she realized she truly loved him back.
Buttercup: Farm boy... fetch me that pitcher.
[It's right over her head, so he has to stand next to her]
Westley: As you wish.
[Cut to them kissing]
The Grandson: [interrupting] Hold it, hold it. What is this? Are you trying to trick me? Where's the sports?
[suspiciously]
The Grandson: Is this a kissing book?
Grandpa: Wait, just wait.
The Grandson: Well, when does it get good?
Grandpa: Keep your shirt on, and let me read.

and this is so great!!!

Inigo Montoya: Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
Count Rugen: Stop saying that!

he he and the rhyming is a little corny but cute!

Inigo Montoya: That Vizzini, he can *fuss*.
Fezzik: Fuss, fuss... I think he like to scream at *us*.
Inigo Montoya: Probably he means no *harm*.
Fezzik: He's really very short on *charm*.
Inigo Montoya: You have a great gift for rhyme.
Fezzik: Yes, yes, some of the time.
Vizzini: Enough of that.
Inigo Montoya: Fezzik, are there rocks ahead?
Fezzik: If there are, we all be dead.
Vizzini: No more rhyming now, I mean it.
Fezzik: Anybody want a peanut?
Vizzini: DYEEAAHHHHHH.

Ok that was me just informing you of where my profile pic. comes from, and trying to get you to see the necessity of reading/seeing this book/movie!!

Snow Day!

What a glorious morning it it is! I was awoken at 8:30 to the wonderful Alert system telling me all my classes were canceled!!!

I sat down to view my favorite blogs and decided that it was time for a change. A new year needs a new outlook. It is just a lucky coincidence that my blog is now pink and that Valentine's Day is coming up next month. Personally as I have never had a significant other on Valentine's Day, I view it as a stupid holiday that was created to force men and women to take each other out on expensive dates with expensive gifts. However, I am sure that the year I have a date on Valentine's day my opinion might possibly change (though one can never be sure about these things).

On another note if you know me personally or have talked to me in the past few days, you know that I have been sick. I am happy to report that the drugs the doctor gave me have been totally awesome! and I am starting to get my voice back! Hopefully, I will be up to a phone call this Sunday night! Wink Wink! You know who you are! I was so sorry I couldn't talk last Sunday! It has been too long since we have spoken (out loud...not through Facebook).

Tabitha

Thoughts and a new closing...

So i was in my humanities class the other day and we are talking about myths (a story that may or may not be true that trys to explain something). We were discussing the story of Adam and Eve. When people think about who is to blame for the eating of the fruit more often than not they blame Eve. However in class, we brought up the thought: Where was Adam when Eve was being persuaded to eat the fruit?
This got the class thinking: Did not God put Adam in charge and tell him to watch over Eve?? Is he not just as responsible or even more responsible???
I think it is really fascinating, and want to know what are your thoughts: was it Eve's fault, Adam's fault, or are they equally at fault??

Oh and I have been working on my stories again...I went back and was working on Melinda and Andrew's story...if you guys even remember them...and Haley's...will post some of it later I think.

Help please!!

So I am currently an actuary major, but I am starting to dislike it very much!

I am most likely going to change my major. I was thinking to math ed. or something that could lead to being a book editor...

Any suggestions???

Love ya lots,
Tabitha

Tragedy has struck!!

I am sorry to report that my laptop hates me. I had to ship it back to HP, so they can fix it. I have no idea when I will be getting it back. Unfortunately, I am going back to school tomorrow and will have limited acess to a computer without it. This means that I will probably not be posting that much and my stories are on hold. I hate to type my stories more than once so...you will have to wait untill my laptop returns to hear more about your favorite characters. Somehow I think this pains me more than it does you lol.

All my love,
Tabitha

P.S. All my stories are backed up so there is no chance of losing them!
