Breaking Out On My Own, but Not Quite…

Acknowledgements: The two twin guys at Robert Morris University 2008-2009, I never spoke to you, but I saw you together enough to inspire this story.

Prologue

Eighteen years ago on the fourth of May, two children were brought into this world. James and Jacob Williams were the only children born to Henry and Julia. When they found out they were having twins, Henry and Julia were not surprised. Julia is a twin and there were generations of twins in her ancestors. In fact, Henry was excited at the possibility of twins. He was an only child and always wished that he had a brother or sister to play with. James and Jacob were so much alike that it was hard to tell them apart at first. However, they quickly noticed that Jacob has a mole on his left ear. Other than that, they were completely identical from their dark brown hair to their sea foam blue eyes. Henry and Julia quickly learned that James was a leader and Jacob was the follower. James was born first so this was easy to believe. When James started to walk, Jacob was right there chasing after him. James sad Dada and Jacob shouted Mama. James stuck a key in a socket and Jacob tried to pull it out. Not one of the funner days in the Williams home. Julia was frightened to death of what might have happened to her boys. James and Jacob were inseparable all throughout elementary, middle, and high school. They joined the same sports teams and Boy Scout troop. Possibly the only thing they didn’t share was girls. By some miracle, they never were interested in the same girl. Now James and Jacob are eighteen and are planning for the rest of their lives. They have many decisions to make starting with where they are going to go to college. They had each been accepted to different schools, but the one school that they had both been accepted to was Dunham University in Western Pennsylvania. Not wanting to be separated from each other for the first times in their lives, they decided to go there together. So after a summer of fun with their friends, they loaded up their beat up car and left Ohio on the three hour trip that would bring them to their dorm at Dunham University.
